Stretch Distribution Inc. in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, seeks an Accounting Supervisor to lead our finance team and ensure accurate financial reporting.

This full-time role reports to the Accounting Manager and focuses on strong controls, timely closing, and compliance. You will supervise daily accounting activities, oversee GL reconciliation, manage payables/receivables, and mentor staff while collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting in a supervisory role.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading a team and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting team activities and ensure timely, accurate transactions.
• Oversee general ledger preparation and reconciliation for accuracy.
• Review financial reports for compliance with standards and policies.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/customer relations.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing, including accruals and adjustments.
• Maintain accounting records documenting regulatory requirements.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist audits with documentation and support to external auditors.
• Train and mentor accounting staff on policies and best practices.
• Monitor department budget and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with other departments for timely financial info.
