Job summary

D&V Philippines is seeking an experienced accounting professional for a hybrid role based in Metro Manila. You will handle expense processing, payroll checks, tax compliance, AR, invoicing, and reporting to Directors, with emphasis on accuracy and timely monthly closes.

Qualifications

• CPA or non-CPA with at least 3 years of accounting and management reporting experience.
• Proficient with Xero and AU Tax Compliance (required).
• Experience reviewing and evaluating team tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a highly automated environment with monthly reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process expense claims and payments.
• Match credit card expense accounts and payables to correct entities.
• Payroll checking and mileage claim handling.
• Handle AR, debt collection, refunds, and credit notes.
• Reconcile and report to Directors using established templates.

Job description

• Hybrid setup with 1-2 days onsite per month or quarter.

What you’ll be doing:

• Process expense claims / payments
• Match credit card expense accounts o Payment of outgoing bills (and correct allocation to each entity)

Payroll checking

• Follow up mileage claim approvals
• Submit mileage claims to payroll
• Double check payroll mileage payments against report
• Reconcile mileage claim payment

Payroll Tax and work cover o Payment of payroll tax

• Workcover policy management (enrolment and payment)

EOM

• Prepayments
• RC Accruals o Room Hire invoices
• Wages
• Intercompany oncharge invoices
• Rent
• Reporting to Directors (established templates)

Customer payment

• Reconciling payments - daily
• PM / SM invoicing (done weekly)
• Accounts inbox management

AR reports

• Debt collection
• Refunds / credit notes
• Change of claim type (from PM / SM to AM etc.)
• New PM - amend and re-send invoice

Operations

• Handles review and evaluation of tasks performed by assigned direct reports.
• Performs detailed work which cannot be delegated to other junior staff members.
• Assists in other technical projects as directed.
• Participates in proper planning and scheduling of work assignments for team members on client engagements or within the team.
• Works with client's personnel in providing the services necessary to meet client's needs.
• Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in handling client's problems.

• Is willing to extend himself beyond the immediate demands of the assignment and to accept new responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, keen attention to details
• Experience working with clients globally is a plus
