Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead financial integrity and compliance for our operations in Parañaque City. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily ledger maintenance, monthly financial closes, and regulatory filings while working directly with cross-functional operational teams. You will balance detailed administrative oversight—including internal audits, tax compliance, and reporting with active operational engagement to optimize cash flow, streamline departmental workflows, and support company growth.

What You'll Do
- Financial Oversight & Reporting: Supervise full-cycle accounting operations, ensuring timely month-end closures, accurate general ledger maintenance, and precise balance sheet reconciliations.
- Compliance & Tax Management: Manage local and national tax reporting (BIR filings), audit documentation, and statutory compliance requirements in Parañaque City with absolute accuracy.
- Operational & Cost Control: Monitor daily disbursement workflows, cash flow management, and inventory accounting to safeguard company assets and maintain budgetary alignment.
- Team Leadership & Development: Guide, mentor, and evaluate junior accounting staff to foster a high-performance environment, drive process improvements, and streamline team productivity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Financial Management; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in ERP accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle), MS Excel, and an in-depth understanding of Philippine tax laws, BIR requirements, and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Financial Leadership: Proven capability to direct accounting personnel, delegate effectively, and promote accountability across complex financial tasks.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong capacity to review financial statements, identify variance trends, and solve complex reconciliation issues proactively.
- Integrity & Attention to Detail: Unwavering commitment to accuracy, ethical compliance, and safeguarding sensitive financial records.
- Adaptability & Stress Tolerance: Ability to manage tight deadline windows, prioritize competing demands, and maintain high accuracy during peak audit or closing periods.
