Job summary

PNF PHARMACEUTICAL INC. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to implement GAAP-compliant practices, analyze financial information, and prepare reports in line with regulatory requirements.

The role includes preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable, supervising staff, and ensuring accurate records using QuickBooks and other accounting software. Candidates should have a BS Accountancy and at least 2 years in BIR handling and general accounting, with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a professional and committed Accounting Supervisor to contribute to the advancement of the business by applying principles of accounting in analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports as well as ensuring that the company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management or regulatory reports.
• Manage financial data using accounting software, spreadsheets, and QuickBooks.
• Analyze financial performance, revenue, and expenses to identify improvement opportunities and ensure effective budget and expenditure control.
• Monitor distributor purchases and quotas to ensure proper application of discounted pricing.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures for budgeting, cash, and credit management.
• Review accounting systems and procedures, recommend improvements, and monitor implementation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, BIR requirements, and accounting standards.
• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts and past-due checks.
• Review financial reports for accuracy, timeliness, and relevance; resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
• Represent the company in dealings with government agencies and supervise, evaluate, and recommend personnel actions for accounting staff.

About you

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or any related course
• At least 2 years experience in BIR handling, General Accounting
• The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
• Computer literacy and the ability to use various accounting software applications (ex. Quickbooks)
• Familiarity with basic Accounting principles.
• Attention to detail.
• Reasonable word processing skills.
• Can handle multi-tasking.
• Good administrative skills.
