R.A.AGUILAR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES CORPORATION in the Philippines seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
You will supervise daily operations, prepare statements, manage ledgers, tax compliance, and internal controls while coordinating with management, auditors, and government agencies to meet reporting deadlines.
Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department and ensure that tasks are properly assigned and completed on time.
Review and ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Prepare, review, and assist in the analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and accounting reports.
Monitor and review the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), applicable tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
Prepare, review, and ensure the timely submission of tax returns and statutory reports, including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other government-mandated filings.
Monitor cash flow, budget utilization, and financial forecasts and provide relevant updates and reports to management.
Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to promote accuracy, efficiency, and proper financial management.

Train, guide, and mentor accounting staff and monitor their work performance to ensure proper execution of assigned responsibilities.
Review the work of accounting personnel and provide guidance on accounting issues, discrepancies, and other concerns.

Maintain proper documentation and safekeeping of accounting records and other financial documents.
Perform other accounting-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a valid PRC license.
At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with previous supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general accounting procedures.
Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and other applicable Philippine accounting and statutory requirements.
Experienced in preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and government‑mandated reports
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with management, auditors, government agencies, and other departments.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism, particularly in handling financial information and company records.
