As our Accounting Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the complete accounting cycle—from daily transaction recording and bank reconciliations to monthly financial reporting, tax compliance, and budget tracking. Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Operations & Ledger Management (40%): Record and maintain complete and accurate financial records. Process supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer collections while managing accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Treasury & Cash Management (20%): Monitor daily cash balances, prepare cash position reports, and conduct bank reconciliations to maintain optimal liquidity.
- Taxation & Regulatory Compliance (20%): Prepare, file, and remit statutory tax forms and tax computations in compliance with Philippine taxation laws and BIR regulations. Coordinate tax audits and government inquiries.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis (10%): Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, generate timely management reports, and analyze financial results to highlight trends and key metrics.
- Budgeting Support & Variance Analysis (10%): Assist in the annual budgeting process, monitor actual vs. budget performance, and conduct financial variance analysis.
- Process Improvement & Internal Controls: Proactively enhance accounting procedures (AP, AR, GL, month-end closing) and design robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, or an Accountancy graduate with equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid hands-on experience handling end-to-end accounting operations and general accounting functions.
- Tax Expertise: Deep understanding of Philippine taxation laws, BIR regulations, tax audit management, tax planning, and deferred tax accounting.
- Financial Acumen: Strong proficiency in month-end financial closing, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and cash management.
- Analytical Thinking: Excellent numerical agility and problem-solving skills to reconcile complex discrepancies and interpret financial data.
- Process Enhancement: Track record of driving continuous improvement in finance operations and internal controls.
