JOB DESCRIPTION:
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of general ledger entries.
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.
Monitor revenue and expense posting related to property sales, leasing, commissions, and property management.
Supervise AP/AR processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment.
Review supplier invoices, contractors’ billing, and client payment schedules.
Oversee collections of accounts receivable, including buyer payments, leases, and service fees.
Validate project costing, land acquisition costs, construction expenses, and capitalization of assets.
Monitor sales bookings, commission payouts, and contract-to-cash processes.
Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to management.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
Support compliance with tax reporting, including real property tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and other regulatory filings.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
Review outputs, provide training, and ensure team productivity and accuracy.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency of accounting operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy;
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA);
With at least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role;
Experience in the real estate or construction industry is highly preferred;
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting;
Experience in real estate accounting processes (project costing, sales recognition, leasing, commissions, etc.);
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Real Estate ERP systems);
