Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor and maintain the company’s internal controls, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure timely filing of tax returns, statutory contributions, and other government compliance requirements.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to improve performance and efficiency.
