• Support quarterly/year-end audits and corporate controls audits.
• Evaluate accounting practices and implement improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements for accuracy.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff; set goals and provide training.
• Coordinate with external auditors for timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax-related activities.
• Support quarterly and year-end financial audits, as well as the annual corporate financial controls audit.
• Evaluate current accounting practices and procedures; recommend and implement improvements for greater efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff by setting goals, providing training, and fostering strong working relationships.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting during audit periods.

Qualifications
