Job description

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate and supervise the accounting operation of real estate through the effective implementation of accounting internal controls, providing managerial skills, direction and guidance to accounting staffs.
• Oversee the full cycle accounting and financial reporting for real estate operations
• Responsible for the regulatory compliance and tax compliance
• Accurate monitoring of property-related transactions, project development costs, and revenue recognition.
• Assist in the review of the financial statements and auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
• Develop and maintain financial databases as source of financial information. Compile and analyze data for strategic planning.
• Introduce improvements/ new processes in the workflow area.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist in the review of the statutory and BIR reports to ensure that they are free from misstatements and are submitted on time

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant is a required
• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• Proficient in MS Excel, Accounting System (e.g. Navision)
• Strong understanding of Tax Law and regulatory compliance
• Minimum of 3 years in accounting
