Job summary

Arrk Freight and Logistics Co. in Binondo, Manila is seeking an on-site accounting professional to manage billing, collections, and general ledger activities. The role covers journal entries, month-end close support, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, a college degree in a relevant field, and is open to starting ASAP. CPA is a plus and forwarding exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and print billing invoices and collections.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Record journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Issue and manage official receipts for collections in accordance with government regulations.
• Ensure all official receipts are properly accounted for, securely stored, and sequentially issued.
• Reconcile official receipts issued with recorded sales/income.
• Assist in government compliance audits and respond to queries on tax and document-related matters.
• Process cash disbursement, vouchers and petty cash, payables and receivables
