Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a detail‑oriented accounting professional to handle day‑to‑day transactions and end‑to‑end payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government requirements in the Philippines.

You will manage tax compliance (BIR), AP/AR, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing, coordinating with external accountants as needed to maintain accurate records and timely filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling payroll processing is required.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting and payroll practices.
• Familiarity with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR requirements.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Able to handle confidential financial and employee information.

Responsibilities

• Process and monitor day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, payment requests, and other accounting documents.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper supporting documents.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
• Monitor outstanding payables, receivables, and other financial obligations.
• Prepare routine accounting reports for management review.
• Coordinate with the external accountant/auditor, if applicable.
• Assist in tax and government-related accounting requirements.
• Process the company's monthly/bimonthly payroll.
• Validate attendance, overtime, leaves, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Calculate salaries, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions.
• Prepare payroll registers and payslips.
• Monitor and reconcile payroll records.
• Process SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax-related requirements.
• Ensure timely remittance and proper documentation of statutory deductions.
