Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a diligent Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist in the Philippines to support day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger activities, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, tax compliance, payroll support, and month-end closing.

The role requires a hands-on accounting professional who can maintain accurate financial records, identify discrepancies, manage documentation, and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or related field.
3-4 years of relevant experience in general accounting, bookkeeping, or similar role.
Hands-on experience in general accounting, bank reconciliation, AP/AR, and month-end closing.
Knowledge of Philippine tax compliance (BIR) and payroll-related contributions is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including receipts and journal entries.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Support tax filings and payroll-related contributions.
Coordinate with HR and external stakeholders.
