Job summary

RLG ELECTRO MECHANICAL TRADING CORP in Quezon City/Metro Manila is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and tax compliance under Philippine accounting standards. The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience; CPA is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP or Oracle) is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of hands-on general accounting experience; CPA a plus.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR requirements, and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, record, and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle BIR tax filings, statutory compliance, and documentation (1601C, 2550Q, 1702, etc.).
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow operations.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
