Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an accounting professional to support day-to-day finance operations in the Philippines. The role involves recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, managing payables/receivables, and assisting with monthly and annual financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a BS Accountancy/Financial Accounting or Accounting Technician background, with exposure to XERO, SAP, or Oracle. CPA is an advantage, and prior audit support experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or relevant accounting certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day functions of accounting department.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare invoices, payment requests, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Monitor collections, outstanding receivables, and vendor payments.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain proper supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of expenses and other financial transactions.
• Maintain organized and complete accounting records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Assist in tax-related documentation and statutory reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable financial regulations.
• Identify accounting discrepancies or unusual transactions and escape issues to management.
• Provide administrative and financial support to the Finance and Accounting department.
