Job summary

Medicover Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company's accounting operations and financial reporting across its dialysis centers in the Philippines.

The role requires a CPA, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will manage budgeting, reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls, while coordinating with external auditors and banks.

Qualifications

• CPA license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in healthcare or dialysis operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the company and dialysis centers.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and maintenance of records.
• Manage budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, and other government regulations).
• Review tax computations, tax filings, and other statutory reports.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies as needed.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management to support business decisions.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate the Accounting Team.
• Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of financial records.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by Management.
