Sodexo On- Site Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the company’s accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, and month-end close, with governance for onshore and offshore teams.
You will ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and timely closes, while driving process improvements and automation initiatives across the organization.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the overall management, control, and governance of the Company's accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), record-to-report activities, and month-end close processes. The role provides leadership to both onshore and offshore teams.
The position is accountable for ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, timely financial close, and continuous process improvement, while driving effective governance between Country and offshore teams.
Lead end-to-end accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
Manage governance and performance of Sodexo Business Services (SBS) to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.
Lead internal and external audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance activities.
Maintain balance sheet integrity, manage financial risks, and resolve accounting issues.
Drive process improvements, strengthen financial controls, and support automation initiatives.
Lead, coach, and develop high-performing accounting teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
CPA qualification preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
Prior experience in a Big 4 or reputable audit firm is highly preferred.
At least 3–5 years of people management experience.
Experience managing AR, AP, GL, and month-end close processes.
Experience working with shared services and offshore teams preferred.
Strong knowledge of PFRS, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
