Snapp! is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee AR and AP, manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
You will lead AR/AP processes, review and approve documents, manage fixed assets, prepare management reports, and collaborate with external auditors and regulators. Strong Excel and ERP skills, and professional English are required. Prior leadership experience is a plus, with a detail-oriented, proactive mindset.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization. You will oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, and provide accurate financial insights that support strategic business decisions. Your expertise will contribute to strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and maintaining a healthy financial environment across the company.
Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), petty cash, and daily financial transactions.
Review, verify, and approve accounting documents to ensure accurate financial records.
Manage fixed assets and supplier accounts.
Review invoices before payment, ensuring compliance with tax and social security (SSO) regulations.
Prepare accurate financial and management reports for internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, VAT, insurance, and other statutory requirements.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and actively contribute to ERP and finance system enhancements.
Support the finance team through effective planning, problem-solving, and process optimization.
Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (AR/AP).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Solid understanding of tax regulations, VAT, insurance, and statutory financial requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/financial systems.
Strong analytical thinking, financial planning, and decision-making skills.
Close attention to detail, accountability, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with cross-functional departments.
Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Previous experience leading or mentoring finance team members is considered an advantage.
Auditing experience is considered an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a results-oriented, proactive approach.
