Position Title: Accountant
Position Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing the full set of accounts and ensuring the
accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records and reporting. The role
is responsible for accounts payable, account receivables, general ledger
management, month-end and year-end close processes, balance sheet
reconciliations, statutory compliance, and audit support. The Accountant will work
closely with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure financial transactions are
recorded accurately and in accordance with company policies and accounting
standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including General Ledger (GL),
- Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review journal entries including accruals, payroll, intercompany and other adjustments.
- Prepare and complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations in line with month-end reporting requirements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities within agreed timelines.
- Prepare monthly reports and variance analysis to support financial review and business decision-making.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, reconciling items, and financial variances.
- Ensure financial controls and procedures are operating effectively.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a
- related discipline.
- CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with exposure to a full set of
- accounts.
- Experience in a multinational company, shared services, or BPO environment
- is advantageous. Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP,
- Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- priorities effectively.
