Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Head to steer day-to-day financial operations, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and coordinate with operations, procurement, and management on project revenues, costs, and commitments.
The role requires strong cash-flow management, budgeting, taxation, and financial analysis skills, with prior supervisory experience in project-based environments.
The Accounting & Finance Head is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day financial operations. They ensure that the management has timely, accurate, and reliable financial information significant for decision-making. Moreover, they shall monitor the Sales Order, Purchase Order, project billings and collections, company cash flow, treasury requirements, project profitability, taxation, and financial reporting.
They should closely coordinate with the operations, business development, procurement, and management to assure that project revenues, costs, collections, and financial commitments are properly controlled.
Oversee Sales orders, Billing and Collection by ensuring complete documentation and financial records for all contracts, billings, retentions, and outstanding balances. In addition, coordinate with project operations for timely submission of invoices and billings.
Manage Purchase order and accounts payable by monitoring the amounts, payment terms, due dates, and ensuring all records are complete.
Forecast cash flows, identifying potential deficits, and recommending corrective and preventive measures.
Ensure that the company adheres to the taxation and statutory compliance. Coordinate with external accountants or auditors when necessary.
Prepare financial reporting by consolidating all financial data from various operations and ensure timely financial information for management.
Ensure all future expenditures, manpower, purchases, and financial commitment are well coordinated with all department heads.
Monitor individual project profitability by tracking actual vs. committed costs, contract variations, and projected margins in coordination with technical and operations teams.
Manage and enforce controls over all financial transactions (collections, CA, reimbursement, liquidation etc.) and ensures all transactions are well documented.
Monitor amortization schedules, interest, maturity dates and other available credit facilities.
Supervise Finance/Accounting Personnel by assigning responsibilities, establishing deadlines for timely submission, and providing guidance to ensure all corporate financial obligations are accurate, compliant, and well documented.

Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Management Accounting, or a related field.
CPA is an advantage but may not be mandatory for candidates with strong project-finance and management experience.
Preferably at least five (5) years of relevant finance/accounting experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Experience in construction, EPC, electrical contracting, engineering, infrastructure, or other project-based businesses is highly preferred.
Proven experience in cash-flow management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, project costing, budgeting, taxation, financial analysis, and management reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial models, cash-flow forecasting, project P&L monitoring, pivot tables, and management dashboards.
