Arcanum Design Studio seeks a Senior Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare statements, and monitor budgets. You will collaborate with Management and Admin to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance, including tax filings and audits.
You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, analyze data for risk insights, support project bidding, and drive process improvements with AI-enabled tools. Construction accounting exp. is required.
The Senior Accountant closely coordinates with Management and Admin, and co-manages the company’s financial transactions, from fixed payments, billings, and variable expenses to bank transactions and budgets. They will assist in auditing the company’s financial documents and procedures, prepare financial statements, examine and analyze the company’s accounts and financial standing, and ensure compliance with the law. They will also be involved in financial reporting, financial concerns with bidding projects, and other standard accounting procedures.
Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the company’s policies
Creation of the monthly and/or annual budgeting process and providing ongoing financial forecasting.
Analyzing the company’s financial data and providing insights to identify risks, and to support financial decision-making together with the Executive team
Monitoring the company’s budget performance, revenue, and expenses, and suggesting corrective actions as needed.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal accounting processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Ensuring compliance with the local regulations, including tax & contribution filings and audits.
Managing invoices and billing, internal & external audits, and providing necessary documentation for reporting to the executive teams and other concerned parties.
Collaborating with the admin department for bidding concerns
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting department.
Utilizing AI and searching for Accounting tools and softwares to improve the department’s financial processes
A degree in Accounting
5–7 years of accounting experience
At least 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry
Strong knowledge and experience in full-cycle accounting and accounting functions
Experienced in preparing balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow statements, and other financial reports
Proficient in accounting/bookkeeping software
Knowledgeable in conducting internal financial audits
Experienced in construction cash-flow management and project financial monitoring
Skilled in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Experienced in loan amortization and tax computation,
Knowledge of BIR and other applicable government accounting/tax compliance requirements
Ability to utilize AI and automation tools to improve accounting processes is an advantage
Experienced in project costing and profitability analysis
