Experience in construction or water treatment industries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with BS in Accountancy and active CPA license.
• 5–10 years of experience in the accounting field.
• Managerial experience in cost accounting or general accounting, preferably in construction or water/wastewater/environmental industries.
• Proficient in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedAccounting Managerto supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing processes while working closely with our financial management team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including:
• Month-end and year-end processes
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Cash receipts and general ledger
• Payroll, utilities, and treasury functions
• Budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis
• Capital asset reconciliations and fixed asset activity
• Debt activity and trust account statement reconciliations
• Check runs and revenue/expenditure variance analysis
• Monitor and analyzeaccounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforceaccounting methods, policies, and principles in line with industry standards.
• Coordinate and completeannual audits and ensure compliance with all accounting regulations.
• Provide recommendationsto improve financial systems, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise and directstaff to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Establish and maintainfiscal files and records documenting all transactions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and hold an active CPA license.
• At least5-10 yearsof working experience in the related accounting field.
• Preferably with managerial-level experience specializing in Cost Accounting or General Accounting within the Construction industry, or in Water and Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Engineering industries.
• Proficient in using accounting software and financial management systems;
• Extensive experience in inventory management and month-end processes, including accounting adjustments such as accruals and prepayments;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and understand variances and trends;
• Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Advanced computer skills inMS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• In-depth knowledge ofbookkeeping,accounting principles,standards,laws, andregulations.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to direct and supervise a team.
