Job summary

KMZD GROUP is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, and AR. You will record daily transactions, prepare journal entries, and ensure timely financial reporting for management and audits.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, familiarity with Philippine accounting standards, and strong Excel skills. You will contribute to monthly and year-end closings and collaborate with the finance team in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full-set accounting exposure.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Good understanding of Philippine accounting practices and statutory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts: GL, AP, AR.
• Record daily transactions and prepare journal entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other docs.
• Perform bank and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and management reports.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closings.
• Maintain accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with cash-flow forecasting.
• Prepare supporting schedules for audits.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full-set accounting exposure

• Experience preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements
