Job summary

Filoil Logistics Corporation in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, seeks a full-time Accounting Clerk to support finance by recording transactions, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records across our logistics operations. You will work with Accounts Payable/Receivable, assist with month-end close, and ensure compliance with Philippine laws and internal procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions including AP/AR and GL entries.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Respond to inquiries from internal departments about transactions.

About the role

Filoil Logistics Corporation is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to join our growing team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This role is fundamental to maintaining the financial accuracy and operational efficiency of our retail and consumer products logistics operations. As an Accounting Clerk, you will provide essential support to our finance department, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with established procedures. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop your accounting skills whilst contributing directly to the success of a dynamic organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Recording financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Processing invoices, purchase orders and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and documentation
• Filing and retrieving financial documents as required
• Supporting the accounts team with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Responding to enquiries from internal departments regarding financial transactions and account status
• Assisting with data entry and verification of financial information into accounting systems

What we're looking for

• Completed secondary education; a qualification in accounting, bookkeeping or finance is advantageous
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across departments
• Reliability and demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines
