Pioneer Your Insurance is seeking an Accounting Cash Receipts Staff Assistant to support cash management, investment, reinsurance accounting, and financial reporting activities. The role ensures accurate recording, reconciliation, monitoring, and reporting of cash and other financial transactions.
Key responsibilities include bank reconciliations, processing receipts, journal vouchers, and assisting in annual financial statements.
We are looking for an Accounting Cash Receipts Staff Assistant to support the company's cash management, investment, reinsurance accounting, and financial reporting activities.
The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, monitoring, and reporting of cash and other financial transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor the company's daily cash position.
Check collections and ensure proper processing and issuance of official receipts.
Prepare schedules and assist in the closing of collection and deposit transactions.
Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts, including accounts payable and unapplied deposits.
Assist in the opening and maintenance of new bank accounts and collection channels.
Process bank-related documents and account updating requirements.
Assist in investment placements and fund withdrawals.
Support reinsurance accounting activities, including payment processing and system tagging.
Prepare and process journal vouchers (JVs) for collection, investment, and reinsurance transactions.
Prepare schedules and reports for cash, bank balances, time deposits, and other financial accounts.
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and other required reports.
Stay updated on relevant accounting and regulatory requirements, including BIR and Insurance Commission guidelines.
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Graduate of BS Accountancy or BSBA major in Financial Management.
CPA license is an advantage, but not required.
At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Knowledge of bank reconciliation, cash management, and general accounting processes is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work accurately with financial data.
