Casto Travel Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Agent - Shared Services to support airline ticketing, settlement, and accounting tasks in a travel-focused environment. The role requires 1 year of accounting experience, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.

You will work with airlines, travel agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data. Responsibilities include balancing ARC sales reports, managing AR/AP, reviewing service fees, and interfacing GDS

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in travel industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to gather information, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, airlines, travel agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Preference for experience in Trams, IAR, SharedHR, and iPay.
• Willingness to complete ARC Specialist Training and Certification Program.

Responsabilidades

• Handle airline ticketing and settlement processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Review service fees and attach TAF to tickets.
• Perform daily interfaces between GDS and Accounting System.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between IARC/ARC and Accounting System.
• Prepare and balance weekly ARC Sales Reports.
• Support ARC-related activities and ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Download and review Air Debit Memos (ADMs) and validate records in GDS and Accounting System.
• Dispute invalid debit memos and coordinate valid ADMs with Travel Agency Manager/Team Lead.
• Prepare management reports and support financial closing activities.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and cash application; support Accounts Payable and vendor payments.
• Handle commission tracking and data entry; provide backup for other accounting processes.

Your Role Includes:

• Handling various aspects of airline ticketing and settlement processes to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Reviewing service fees and ensuring proper attachment of TAF (Service Fee) to tickets
• Performing daily interfaces between the GDS and Accounting System
• Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies between IARC/ARC and the Accounting System
• Preparing and balancing weekly ARC Sales Reports
• Supporting ARC-related activities while ensuring accurate financial transactions and adherence to industry requirements
• Downloading and reviewing Airline Debit Memos (ADMs) and validating related records in the GDS and Accounting System
• Disputing invalid debit memos and coordinating valid ADMs with the Travel Agency Manager/Team Lead
• Preparing management reports, supporting financial closing activities, and assisting with schedule preparation
• Managing Accounts Receivable, including cash application and reconciliations
• Supporting Accounts Payable, including vendor/supplier payments and credit card reconciliations
• Handling commission tracking and accounting data entry activities
• Providing backup and coverage support for other accounting processes and assignments as needed
