Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager in Makati to support our finance operations within the travel management sector. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, supervisory exposure, and the ability to manage multi-currency transactions across countries.

You will work closely with the Accounting Manager on financial reporting, BIR compliance, and process improvements while ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal policies. CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field required.
• CPA is preferred but not required.
• Experience in travel agency or travel management company is required.
• 3–5 years accounting experience with supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounting Manager in overseeing daily accounting operations.
• Handle technical accounting processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Manage and monitor multi-currency transactions and conversions across countries.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Assist in BIR compliance, reportorial requirements, and statutory filings.
• Conduct benchmarking and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Supervise and guide accounting staff as needed.
• Continuously improve accounting workflows and systems.
