Job summary

Knowles Electronics (Philippines) Corporation is seeking an Accountant – General Ledger and Tax to support our Finance team in daily accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role focuses on accurate records, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, at least 3 years of tax experience, and solid knowledge of BIR, PEZA, and SEC regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• At least 3 years of tax-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of BIR, PEZA, and SEC regulations.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns (BIR, PEZA, SEC) accurately and on time.
• Handle VAT, EWT, income tax, DST, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain GL balances and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Assist in ad hoc reports and financial analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
