Knowles Electronics (Philippines) Corporation seeks an Accountant – General Ledger and Tax to support the Finance team in managing daily accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role ensures accurate records, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls in a fast-paced corporate environment.

The position focuses on tax preparation, GL maintenance, and month-end close, with collaboration across audits and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA required.
• At least 3 years of tax-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of BIR, PEZA, and SEC regulations.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns (BIR, PEZA, SEC) accurately and on time.
• Handle VAT, EWT, income tax, DST, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain GL balances and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Assist in ad hoc reports and financial analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
