Job summary

Satellite Office is seeking a Finance Specialist to support tax compliance and regulatory filing. You will work with the Finance Manager and team to ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns, schedules, and reports.

The role requires strong English communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will assist with permit renewals, bookkeeping, and month-end close tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in an accounting related role.
• Audit experience is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate and timely filing of corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and related schedules.
• Assist in timely filing of reportorial requirements with PEZA, BOI, SEC and other regulators.
• Assist in renewal of business permits.
• Assist in preparation of the Company's books of accounts to be filed with BIR.
• Prepare financial statement schedules supporting the month-end close.
• Support ad-hoc tasks within the Finance Department.

Job description

Responsible for supporting the key managers responsible for tax and regulatory compliance, by adherence to processes and procedures related to the completion of compliance obligations.

In addition, providing general support to the finance manager and finance team in all things required to carry out their key responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Ensures accurate and timely filing and submission of all corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, as well as supporting schedules and alpha-lists/reliefs, including Value Added tax, Withholding tax, Income tax, Final Tax, DST and other tax returns that arise during the course of business subject to review of Finance Manager, Tax and Compliance Manager, and Finance Director
• Provide assistance to the Finance Manager, Tax and Compliance Manager, and Finance Director to ensure timely filing of any reportorial requirements with PEZA, BOI, SEC, and other government regulatory bodies.
• Provide assistance and act as liaison for the renewal of business permits.
• Assist in the preparation of the Company's books of accounts to be filed with the BIR.
• Prepare any financial statement schedules supporting the month-end close.
• Assistance with any other ad-hoc tasks within the Finance Department.
