Job Title: Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to oversee the daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and project cost monitoring for Hillman Realty Development Corp (HRDC). The role includes monitoring budgets, contractor payments, procurement expenses, and operational costs while working closely with the procurement, engineering, and project management teams. The successful candidate will also prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance requirements and coordinate with auditors and government agencies when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Accountant details:

• Monitor daily cash flow and operational expenses
• Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Monitor project budgets versus actual expensesTrack project billing, progress billings, and contractor payments
• Prepare bank reconciliations and expense liquidation reports
• Maintain petty cash and reimbursement monitoring
• Assist in financial forecasting and projections

Construction & Project Monitoring

• Monitor project costing per building / phase
• Track procurement expenses, material purchases, and supplier balances
• Monitor equipment rentals, mobilization costs, and site operational expenses
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams
• Validate supporting documents for construction-related disbursements

Compliance & Government Requirements

• Prepare BIR filings and tax compliance requirements
• Monitor withholding taxes, VAT, and payroll-related deductions
• Assist with permits, audit requirements, and documentation
• Coordinate with external accountant/auditor when necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration is also acceptable
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• With 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the real estate or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
