CITIHUB ENTERPRISE, INC. is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounting for its real estate properties and business operations.
You will maintain accurate financial records, oversee property-related income and expenses, and prepare reports to ensure compliance and timely reporting. Ideal candidates have a CPA, 3–5 years of related experience in real estate or property management, and strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Odoo.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee accounting transactions related to the Company's real estate properties and business operations. The position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring property-related income and expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts for assigned real estate companies and properties.
Record, review, and monitor daily financial transactions, including income, expenses, collections, disbursements, and other property-related transactions.
Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Monitor tenant, client, buyer, and customer accounts, including rental payments, deposits, advances, and other receivables, when applicable.
Prepare and review billing statements, statements of account, invoices, official receipts, and other financial documents.
Conduct regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and other management reports.
Monitor property-related expenses, utilities, repairs, maintenance costs, and operational expenses.
Assist Management in monitoring budgets, expenses, and financial performance of assigned properties or companies.
Ensure proper recording and monitoring of security deposits, advances, reimbursements, and other liabilities.
Review supporting documents and ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting transactions before processing.
Coordinate with Property Management, Leasing, Administration, and other departments regarding billing, collections, expenses, and financial concerns.
Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and other reports required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue and other government agencies.
Ensure proper maintenance and filing of accounting records and supporting documents.
Assist during internal and external audits and provide required financial documents and schedules.
Identify discrepancies, accounting issues, and financial risks and immediately report them to Management.
Recommend improvements in accounting processes, internal controls, and financial monitoring procedures.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as may be assigned by Management.
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property management, construction, leasing, or related industries.
Knowledgeable in general accounting principles, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.
Experience in handling property-related accounting transactions, rental income, tenant accounts, collections, deposits, and operating expenses is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in Philippine tax requirements and basic compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Experience using accounting systems or ERP software is an advantage; experience with Odoo is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accuracy in financial records.
Able to manage multiple accounts, companies, or properties simultaneously.
Can work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
Has good communication and coordination skills.
Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
