Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent is required.

• Proficient IT skills including Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage revolving and other funds and coordinate funding with Head Office.
• Review division billings and ensure proper control measures are in place.
• Follow up client collections and report to Head Office.
• Review payables for Marine Division in the accounting system.
• Assist in marketing tug assistance services and prepare quotations.
• Assist disposal of scrap and liquidation of advances.
• Prepare financial reports and tax filings for affiliated companies.
• Ensure compliance with QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY and HEALTH standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Follow up collections from clients and review and account service billing collections. Review of payables incurred by Marine Division including its input/process in the computerized accounting system. Assist in marketing of tug assistance service through coordination, communication with clients and preparation of quotation. Assist in the disposal of scrap and liquidation of suppliers and other employees' advances. Preparation of financial reports and tax filing compliance of affiliated companies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and account service billing collections and submit collection report to Head Office periodically
• Review payables incurred by Marine Division including its input/process in the computerized accounting system
• Assist in marketing of tug assistance service including coordination, communication with clients and preparation of quotation
• Assist in the disposal of scrap and liquidation of suppliers and other employees' advances
• Prepare financial reports and tax filing compliance of affiliated companies
• Ensure compliance of all QUALITY, ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY and HEALTH standards, requirements and procedures
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
