Odfjell Technology in Makati requires an accounting professional with 2+ years in Global Business Services, strong project accounting, and data management skills. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Global Business Services accounting/finance.
• Knowledge of project accounting.
• Experience in data entry and data management.
• Familiar with ERP and accounting software.
• Exposure to ERP systems is preferred.
• Organizational skills and handling confidential information.
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions within guidelines.
• Structured, accurate, and quality-focused with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Establishment and modification of projects in IFS.
• Providing access to personnel.
• Following up on unapproved or missing timesheets.
• Updating budgets per project (BID, PO, including VORs/VOs).
• Correcting manhours; moving manhours between projects.
• Provide weekly cost reporting.
• Check for missing sales price and internal price.
• Transfer of forward supplier invoices into project transactions.
• Update MODU procurement POs with procurement activities.
• Update potential loss reports.
• Prepare appropriation reports for MODU portfolio.
• Prepare monthly portfolio reports and invoicing details.
• Deliver month-end business controlling tasks (revenue and cost accruals).
• Check preliminary supplier invoices for accruals.
• Issuance of payment certificates.
• Close projects and participate in meetings with counterparts.
• Ad-hoc requests from project managers and other related tasks.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• Has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field
• Has at least two (2) years working experience in a Global Business Services for Accounting or Finance in a shared services setting
• Has knowledge and experience in Project accounting
• Has an experience in data entry and management
• Knowledge and professional exposure within relevant IT software and computerized accounting systems is a must
• Familiar with ERP and with basic knowledge of tools of trade use to perform the job
• Developed organizational skills and has ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to take initiative, and make decisions within applicable scope, procedures and guidelines
• Structured, accurate, systematic and committed to deliver and take account of quality output within deadlines.

Your Mission

• Establishment and Modification of Projects in IFS.
• Providing Access to Personnel.
• Following – up/Checking of Unapproved Timesheets and Missing Timesheets.

• Delivery of Month End Business Controlling tasks, such as Revenue and Cost Accruals.
• Participation in Checking of Preliminary Supplier Invoices subject for Accruals.
• Issuance of Payment Certificates.
• Closing of Projects.
• Participate in any Meetings with Counterparts.
• Ad-hoc Requests from Project Managers
• Perform other related tasks that may be required from time to time.
