Job summary

MIDA FOOD DISTRIBUTORS INC is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to manage collections, maintain minimal past due balances, and ensure accurate statements and aging reports. You will coordinate with departments, monitor AR concerns, and ensure timely posting of AR transactions in SAP.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, proactive follow-up on payments, and producing daily collection and aging analyses to support cash flow and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable or collections and familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor collections to minimize past due balances.
• Prepare timely statements of account and aging reports.
• Encode and post AR transactions in SAP; check data accuracy.
• Follow up on payments due from customers and coordinate resolution of AR issues.
• Prepare AR reports such as Daily Collection Reports and aging analysis.
• Monitor Sales and Returns, and report on related variances and issues.
• Process Creditable Withholding Taxes (2307) where applicable.

About the role

Plans how to effectively collect payments due and maintains past due collections to a minimum. Prepares and reports time and accurate statement of accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Further improve the accounts receivable position of the company by planning to effectively collect payments due from customers and consistently maintaining past due levels to its minimum
• Provide relevant, timely and effective coordination and resolution of accounts receivable concerns and issues within and among departments
• Analyze secondary accounts and some major accounts as assigned by the Supervisor
• Prepare timely and accurate Statements of Account
• Effectively follow up on payments due from customers
• Encode and post all AR transactions in the systems (SAP)
• Check and edit all AR data encoded in the systems (SAP)
• Prepare AR reports including Daily Collection Reports, Aging of Receivables with analysis, and other relevant reports
• Monitor Sales, Sales Returns and other complaints and make necessary reports and recommendations
• Follow up and monitor Creditable Withholding Taxes (2307)
