BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan targets while ensuring profitability and sound credit quality. You will engage in field visits, assess loan applicants, and coordinate processing and servicing with relevant units.

The role emphasizes active soliciting, customer service, and timely credit actions to support growth of MSME lending across communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four- to five-year degree is required.
• Strong selling, communication, and customer service skills are necessary.
• Willingness to perform field work on a near daily basis.
• Basic mathematical knowledge is expected.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software is preferred.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts through field visits to meet customer needs.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to maintain credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers and units handling processing and servicing of loan applications and clients.
• Review and update loan files and agreements for credit processing and booking adequacy.
• Execute sales/marketing activities to achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is responsible for achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by doing field visits to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant's qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must be amenable to doing field work / working on the field on an almost daily basis
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets .
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle
