Job summary

BDO Unibank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan targets while maintaining profitability and service quality. You will actively solicit microfinance loans, assess applicants, and coordinate processing with multiple units.

The role emphasizes strong selling and communication skills, basic math, and familiarity with word processing and spreadsheets. Motorcycle driving is preferred for fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year or five-year degree course (Bachelor's degree).
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge is required.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers/units related to processing and servicing loans.
• Review loan files and agreements for credit processing and booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.

Job Summary

The Account Officer for Micro,Smalland Medium Enterprisesis responsible forachieving loan volume targets whilemaintainingprofitability, sound credit quality, and good customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Activelysolicitmicrofinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications todeterminefeasibility of granting loans
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course /Bachelor's DegreeHolder
• Possesses good selling,communicationand customer service skills.
• Musthave basic mathematical knowledge.
• Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing& spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle
