Our team is hardworking, entrepreneurial, and passionate about helping families create millions, if not billions of tiny wins.SUMMARYThe Account Manager – All Others Accounts Mexico is responsible for developing, managing, and profitably growing Kids2’s business within Departmental and Mass Merch accounts in Mexico, leading business results, including sales volume, spending within budget and share growth. The Account Manager is the lead contact with the customer and has significant internal collaboration. The position indirectly leads a cross functional team to develop long term plans based on insight, impact shelving/distribution modifications, and execute pricing/promotion tactics to enable goal delivery.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for achieving profitable sales and share growth in alignment with sales plan goals/objectives.Define the growth strategy for Departmental and Mass Merch accounts in Mexico - revenue, margin, and distribution goals.Identify new business opportunities (new customers, formats, categories).Build and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBP) with Palacio de Hierro, Suburbia, Sears, Chedraui, DSW, La Comer, including targets, initiatives, resources, and KPIs.Ensure price, portfolio, and positioning consistency within the broader omnichannel strategy.Primary contact on items relating to daily operations of the business.Maintain an effective working knowledge of external market factors, including competitive information, trends, retailer initiatives, pricing etc. in order to make educated account decisions and product recommendations to grow the business.Work with internal and external peers around the globe to share and apply best practices for maximizing sales, managing relationships, reporting, driving supply chain efficiencies, and other aspects of the business.Achieve merchandising objectives, new item acceptance and budget adherenceDevelop effective and productive relationships within all levels of customer, as well as with cross-functional teams.Work collaboratively with demand planning to provide annual and ongoing customer forecasting for new product concepts, initiatives, and annual brand plans.Comfortable negotiating and ensuring delivery of agreed upon metrics and contract value; secure terms for contracts, with the ability to bargain and negotiate concessions in the interest of parsing out a final contract containing terms by which all parties agree to abide.Lead development, monitoring, and analysis of sales forecasts and related data, including profitability, rate of sale, promotional performance, etc.Act as the “voice of the customer” internally, sharing market, shopper, and competitive insights with Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Product teams.Ensure clear and timely communication with all internal stakeholders, aligning priorities, timelines, and resources.Monitor competitor activity (pricing, portfolio, promotions, displays, innovation) and propose tactical and strategic responses.Promote the use of digital and analytics tools (including AI) to improve forecasting, segmentation, and commercial effectiveness.CRITICAL LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIESDelivers consistent resultsCreates collaborative relationshipsStrategic agilityProblem solvingQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEExperience leading Palacio de Hierro, Suburbia, Sears, Chedraui, DSW, La Comer, Calimax, Coppel.5 years of experience in commercial roles (Account Manager)Proven experience managing Mass Merch and Departmental accounts in Mexico, specifically: Palacio de Hierro, Suburbia, Sears, Chedraui, DSW, La Comer, Calimax and Coppel.Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with management in national accounts, and across internal cross-functional departments is required.Demonstrate experience on Financial and analytical work to manage account profitability and investments is required.Omnichannel experience.Experience in marketing and product management in consumer products is highly desired.Knowledge and use of AI tools to increase effectiveness and efficiency.EDUCATION & SKILLSBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business Administration, Marketing or similar.Financial and analytical skills to manage account profitability and investments is required.Creative, highly-motivated, self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, can efficiently work in an extremely fast-paced environment, a team player and possess excellent verbal and visual communication skills.Delivers consistent resultsCreates collaborative relationshipsStrategic agilityProblem solvingPlanning and organization; ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.Intermediate English level (able to report and communicate with regional/global teams).CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNone required.COMPUTER/TYPING SKILLSMust be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; have flexible use of hands; and talk or hear.The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.WORK ENVIRONMENTGeneral office environment & work from home opportunities.Some travel required.We offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and generous benefits.
