Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. invites a QA/QC inspector for MEPFS to join our Laguna-based project team. You will conduct inspections and testing during installation and pre-handover, ensuring conformity with codes and project specs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 1–5 years in QA/QC in construction, strong MEPFS knowledge, and hands-on testing with meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–5 years of QAQC/quality control experience in construction with MEPFS.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Familiarity with Philippine Building Code and National Electrical Code.
• Experience in inspections, testing procedures, and quality documentation.
• Proficiency with inspection/testing equipment like multimeters, pressure gauges, diagnostic tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and defect identification.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to propose quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of MEPFS during installation and pre-handover.
• Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and documentation per project specs.
• Verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specs.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to address deficiencies.
• Perform QC testing on systems including pressure, continuity, functionality, and safety.
• Monitor progress to ensure work quality before final acceptance.
• Maintain records of testing, inspections, and non-conformances.
• Provide technical recommendations for improvements in construction methods.
• Liaise with project management and clients on quality status.
• Ensure all MEPFS are operational and safe before handover.
