Job summary

LBL Prime Properties Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer for Construction Project Management (Building Construction) in Quezon City.

The role focuses on electrical design review, system implementation, and coordination across MEP trades to ensure project milestones and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering, a Registered Electrical Engineer license, and at least 5 years of experience in design and construction with PM activities, bidding, and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree is required.
• Registered Electrical Engineer license required.
• Minimum 5 years in design and construction with PM, bidding/procurement, review of construction plans/specs.
• Experience with building construction projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use, or institutional).
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical design drawings, shop drawings, technical specs, load schedules, method statements, and submittals.
• Implement and supervise electrical systems: power distribution, transformers, panels, switchgear, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other MEPF trades.
• Plan project sequencing, work coordination, and monitor schedules.
• Identify and resolve design/constructability/site condition issues.
• Prepare ITPs and conduct site inspections and quality audits.
• Ensure drawn and tested turnover documentation and as-built drawings.
• Lead technical discussions and manage site risks and safety.

Electrical Engineer – Construction Project Management (Building Construction)

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering graduation.
• Registered Electrical Engineer license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and construction industry, with experience in Construction Project Management, bidding & procurement, review of construction plans and specifications, coordination with CSA & M&E trades.
• Experience in building construction projects (commercial, residential, mixed-use, or institutional).
• Electrical systems implementation and supervision; Construction Project Management and/or QA/QC functions.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical Engineering related matters & other tasks assigned from time to time.
• Review and interpret electrical design drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, load schedules, method statements, and material submittals.
• Implement and supervise electrical systems: power distribution (LV/MV), transformers, panels, switchgear; lighting & lighting control systems; grounding and bonding; emergency power systems (generators, UPS); fire alarm and low-current systems coordination.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other MEPF trades.
• Project planning, sequencing, work coordination.
• Monitor project schedules and electrical milestones; progress tracking and reporting.
• Identify and resolve construction issues related to design, constructability, and site conditions.
• Cost awareness and change management related to electrical works.
• Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits; manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications; testing and commissioning requirements; materials inspection and verification; as-built drawings and turnover documentation.
• Lead technical discussions and resolve site issues.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
• Implement safety standards and construction site safety practices; identify risks and implement preventive measures.
• Work under pressure and manage multiple work fronts.
