Job summary

CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP. is looking for Site Engineers to supervise MEP installations and fire safety systems in Calamba, Laguna. You will review drawings, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure strict adherence to design specs and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have fresh to 5 years of site experience, strong drawing interpretation skills, and the ability to manage quality assurances on a busy construction site in the Laguna region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 20 Site engineers needed from Fresh Graduate to 5 years of experience in site engineering with substantial MEP/fire safety involvement.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Familiarity with Philippine building codes, fire safety standards, and international construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of MEP and related systems on site.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design specs and standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical docs from subcontractors.
• Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, suppliers and other trades for timely completion.
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports on MEP activities and issues.

Job description

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and related systems on site
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on all MEP and FSEC works to ensure compliance with design specifications and relevant standards
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation from subcontractors
• Liaise with MEP subcontractors, suppliers and other trade contractors to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of works
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports documenting MEP installation activities and any issues encountered
• Identify and resolve technical problems and non-conformances on site, liaising with the design team as required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on all MEP and fire safety works
• Maintain accurate records of material testing, certifications, warranties and as-built documentation for all MEP systems
• Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and support the commissioning and testing of mechanical, electrical and fire safety systems
• Report to the Project Manager and Site Manager on MEP works progress, challenges and recommendations

What we're looking for
