Job summary

Argusland Inc in the Philippines is seeking an Equipment Operator responsible for land development site operations. You will execute daily tasks and coordinate with the Motorpool Officer and Site Engineers to meet project schedules.

Key duties include daily vehicle inspections, reporting defects, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety compliance on all job sites. You will also document maintenance, monitor fuel use, and assist with preventive servicing.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily tasks assigned by the Motorpool Officer and Site Engineers, following project schedules and priorities.
• Inspect assigned unit daily; report mechanical issues; keep unit clean and maintained; coordinate preventive maintenance with Motorpool Officer; monitor fuel consumption.
• Follow road safety regulations and site safety protocols; maintain safe distances; report accidents or hazards promptly.
• Coordinate with the Motorpool Officer on daily assignments and changes; perform other duties as assigned to support construction operations.

Job description

• Equipment Operations- Ensures Timely, accurate and efficient execution of daily tasks and activities assigned by the Motorpool Officer and Site Engineers, particularly in land development works and other related site operations, in accordance with project schedules and priorities. Maybe required to operate other vehicles or equipment other than the assigned unit in the event of another driver’s absence or operational necessity.
• Equipment Inspection and Maintenance - Conducts thorough daily inspection of the assigned unit before the start of each operation. Identifies and promptly reports any mechanical issues, defects or damage to the Motorpool Officer through proper documentation (parts and repair requests). Ensures the assigned unit is kept clean, properly maintained and in good working condition at all times. Coordinate with Motorpool Officer for preventive maintenance repairs, and scheduled servicing. Monitors and reports fuel conmsumption as required.
• Safety and Compliance - Adheres strictly to all road safety regulations, company policies, and site specific safety protocols at all times. Maintain safe working distances from personnel, structures, vehicles and other equipment. Reports accidents, road hazards immediately to the Motorpool Officer and concerned authorities.
• Administrative and Other Responsibilities - Coordinates witht he Motorpool Officer regarding daily assignments, schedules and any changes in itinerary or operations. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Head, Motorpool officer and Site Engineers, within the general scope of the position and in support of construction operations and project reuirements.
