Job summary

Frabelle Corporation is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. You will lead a team of drivers, mechanics, and support staff, coordinating maintenance and enforcing schedules.

The role requires hands-on experience in diesel and gasoline engines, strong planning skills, and a track record of improving fleet efficiency while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with vocational/short course; NC II/III or Mech. Eng degree is a plus.
• Experience supervising mechanics, drivers and support staff.
• 3–4 years as a mechanic for diesel and gasoline engines.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle repair practices and use of advanced repair equipment.
• Ability to plan, organize, supervise, inspect work and keep records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition.
• Develop and implement fleet management strategies to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Supervise motorpool staff, including drivers and mechanics, assigning tasks and monitoring schedules.
• Coordinate regular vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations; implement safety protocols.

• With experience in handling / supervising a team of Mechanic, Drivers & Support personnel.
• At least 3 to 4 year(s) of working experience as a mechanic for diesel & gasoline engine.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle repair practices, procedures and utilization of advance repair equipment.
• Ability to plan, organize, assign, supervise, and inspect the work of others. Ability to keep records and make reports.
