MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Workforce Management Specialist to optimize scheduling, timekeeping, and staffing across departments. You will partner with leaders to anticipate staffing needs and balance operational efficiency with guest experience.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration with multiple teams, and adherence to labor agreements to maintain fair and compliant scheduling practices.

Formación

• 2+ years of relevant administrative experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with scheduling and timekeeping processes.

Responsabilidades

• Complete daily scheduling tasks, including managing leave requests and callouts.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Workforce Management software and processes.
• Collaborate with department leaders to create scheduling solutions reflecting business needs.
• Suggest scheduling changes and develop new staffing models.
• Ensure scheduling adheres to labor agreements and compliance requirements.
• Monitor system issues and downtime and report findings.
• Track KPIs such as Service Level, Occupancy, Abandon rates, ASA and AHT daily, weekly, and monthly.

The Job

As a Workforce Management Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of what keeps our property running seamlessly. In this dynamic, high-impact role, you will support every department across the property by managing high-volume scheduling needs, ensuring accurate timekeeping for all employees, and partnering closely with leaders to anticipate and fulfill staffing requirements. Your keen attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities will help set every team up for success, creating a seamless experience for both employees and our guests.

THE STARTING RATE: $22.50

The Day-to-day

• Work collaboratively to complete daily scheduling tasks, including managing leave requests and callouts
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Workforce Management software and processes
• Collaborate with department leaders to create scheduling solutions that reflect current business demands, account for exceptions, and support accurate staffing levels and efficiency strategies
• Suggest scheduling changes and create new business models
• Identify best practices to enhance staffing while adhering to current labor agreements, and ensure ethical and equitable scheduling processes
• Determine the balance between optimal scheduling, service expectations, and compliance with current legal or legislative requirements
• Track, monitor, and communicate all system issues and downtime
• Manage Key Performance Indicators, including but not limited to Service Level, Occupancy, Abandon rates, ASA and AHT on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience required
• Prior experience in a similar administrative role and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
