The MGM Resorts International Bellagio is seeking a Housekeeping Floor Manager to lead a team delivering exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and service throughout the property.

You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise attendants, conduct briefings, and ensure standards across guest rooms, public areas, and lobbies, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.

Formación

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of prior relevant housekeeping/hotel management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas.
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist Guest Room Attendants and House Persons.
• Conduct daily briefings and schedule meetings with assigned team members.
• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lockers, lobbies, and public areas per standards.
• Perform daily guest room inspections and regular visual inspections of areas.
• Monitor productivity and address performance concerns with the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.
• Distribute workloads fairly among team members.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and discipline related to performance and policies.

The Job

Join the team as a Housekeeping Floor Manager at Bellagio, where you’ll lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and service throughout the property. In this role, you’ll oversee daily housekeeping operations within assigned areas, ensuring high standards are maintained and operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Working in a fast-paced luxury resort environment, you’ll support team members, uphold departmental standards, and help create an outstanding guest experience that reflects the world-class service and elegance of the property.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!

The Day-to-day

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist Guest Room Attendants and House Persons
• Conduct daily briefings and schedule meetings with assigned team members
• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lockers, lobbies, and assigned public areas in accordance with department standards
• Perform daily written guest room inspections and frequent visual inspections of guest rooms and public areas
• Monitor team productivity and communicate any performance concerns or areas below standards to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper
• Distribute workloads fairly and evenly among assigned team members
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, counseling, and discipline related to job performance, guest service, and department policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in a related field, preferably Housekeeping and/or Hotel Management
• Knowledgeable with OSHA regulations, to include implementation and enforcement of safety guidelines, proper chemical usage, handling of BIOHAZARD materials, and injury prevention
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
