Modinity Group in Lima, Peru, seeks a seasoned Financial Analyst to own production costing, vendor payments, and cost analytics across apparel sourcing. You will drive data‑driven decisions, build ERP dashboards, and collaborate with Finance and Brand teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in relevant analytics, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of product costing. Fluency in English is essential; fashion manufacturing experience is a plus.

• 3–5 years in a financial analyst, cost accounting, data analyst, or merchandising/production planning analytics role.
• Experience in fashion, garment, or textile manufacturing or retail supply chain preferred.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets including financial modelling and cash flow projection.
• Strong data cleaning, validation, and documentation discipline.
• Ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain the production cash-out projection by collection and month, based on purchase order commitments and vendor payment terms.
• Track actual production spend against the budget and analyze variances by brand and product category.
• Prepare vendor payment schedules and flag timing risks and cash concentration.
• Provide cost impact analyses for order changes, reorders, and cancellations.
• Consolidate vendor data on delivery timeliness, quality, price movements, and capacity utilization.
• Produce vendor scorecards and cost comparisons to guide allocation and negotiations.
• Analyze cost breakdowns (fabric, accessories, CMT, overhead) to identify cost drivers and savings opportunities.
• Track product development data, including sample-to-bulk lead times and cost sheets; calculate landed cost and margin.
• Maintain data standards and dashboards for monthly performance reports.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses to MDP leadership and brand teams accurately and on time.

Responsibilities :

Production Cash Flow & Payment Analysis :

• Build and maintain the production cash-out projection by collectionand month, based on purchase order commitments and vendorpayment terms (down payment, progress, and balance payments).
• Track actual production spend against the approved MDP budgetand projection, and analyze variances by brand, vendor, andproduct category.
• Prepare the vendor payment schedule for Finance, flag payment ttiming risks and cash concentration, and reconcile MDP recordswith Finance disbursement data.
• Provide cost impact analysis for order changes, reorders, andcancellations to support MDP decision-making.
• Consolidate vendor data on delivery timeliness, quality and reject rates, price movements, and capacity utilization into a standardized vendor database.
• Produce periodic vendor scorecards and cost comparisons across vendors to support allocation, negotiation, and vendor review decisions.
• Analyze cost breakdowns (fabric, accessories, CMT, and overhead) to identify cost drivers and savings opportunities across the vendor base.

Product Development & Costing Data

• Track product development pipeline data, including sample-to-bulk lead times, sample approval rates, and development calendar adherence.
• Maintain cost sheets and calculate landed cost and margin per style against target margin, and flag styles that fall outside costing guidelines.
• Analyze development and production data by collection to identify recurring delays, cost overruns, and quality issues for MDP review.
• Design and maintain MDP dashboards and the monthly MDP performance report covering cash flow, vendor performance, and development status.
• Own MDP master data (vendor, style, purchase order, and costing records), and enforce data standards, validation, and update cadence with the MDP team.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses and data requests from MDP leadership, Finance, and brand teams accurately and on time.

Requirements :

• 3–5 years in a financial analyst, cost accounting, data analyst, or merchandising/production planning analytics role.
• Preferred Experience Experience in fashion, garment, or textile manufacturing or retail supply chain; hands-on exposure to vendor costing, purchase order and payment tracking, and building dashboards from ERP or operational data.
• Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, including financial modelling, cash flow projection, and large-dataset analysis.
• Solid understanding of product costing, margin analysis, and payment-term structures in a manufacturing or sourcing context.
• Strong data cleaning, validation, and documentation discipline, with high attention to detail.
• Able to translate analysis into clear recommendations for non- finance stakeholders and to work across MDP, Finance, and brand teams.
• Proficient in English, written and verbal.
