Modinity Group in Lima, Peru, seeks an experienced Fashion Designer to lead the design team and translate creative direction into commercially viable concepts for the season.

You will conduct trend research, supervise tech packs, fabric selection, fittings, and manage timelines across production, working closely with merchandising, production, and marketing to meet market demand.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• Minimum 7 years as fashion designer.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO for design files.
• Strong pattern making, garment construction, and fabric knowledge.
• Familiar with mass production techniques and production timelines.
• Excellent communication with suppliers, manufacturers, and teams.

• Guide and mentor the design team, fostering creativity and alignment with the Creative Director's vision to achieve seasonal design goals.
• Conduct research on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitor analysis to drive creative and commercially successful design concepts.
• Supervise the creation of tech packs, fabric selection, and sample development to ensure alignment with quality and brand standards.
• Collaborate with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to align designs with market demand and business objectives.
• Facilitate clear communication with vendors and internal teams to address technical design challenges and ensure smooth production processes.
• Oversee fittings and provide feedback to ensure designs meet the brand’s creative and technical specifications.
• Establish and manage timelines for research, development, and product launches, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• Having minimum experience of 7 years as fashion designer.
• Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO to create high-quality design files.
• Strong understanding of pattern making, garment construction, and fabric properties.
• Knowledge of production processes, including cutting, stitching, and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with mass production techniques and machinery used in apparel manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and production timelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve design and production-related issues.
