Modinity Group is seeking a sourcing professional to identify fabric, trim, and accessory vendors and to manage supplier relationships in line with Innovation Lead priorities. The role involves evaluating samples, tracking pricing, and maintaining backup providers for key materials.

Candidates should have 2–4 years in textile sourcing or purchasing, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong English skills. Experience with supplier networks and material testing is preferred.

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
• 2–4 years in textile/garment sourcing, supplier development, or purchasing.
• Proficiency in English.
• Fashion brand or digital print/dyeing background with established supplier networks and hands-on material testing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Source new fabric, trim, and accessory vendors aligned with Innovation Lead priorities via trade shows, directories, and site visits.
• Track market trends to propose relevant new materials and maintain a live prospect pipeline.
• Evaluate samples against specs (composition, MOQ, lead time, performance) and present side-by-side shortlist comparisons.
• Log non-binding baseline pricing and hand off qualified vendors to Purchasing with complete spec profiles.
• Maintain at least one pre-qualified backup vendor per hero material.
• Monitor supply risks and review coverage seasonally with Merchandising.
• Provide material performance data and advise teams on sourcing constraints before sampling starts.
• Partner with Data Specialists to log complete material specs, vendor details, and physical swatches into the central database.

• Track market trends to propose relevant new materials and maintain a live prospect pipeline.
• Evaluate samples against specs (composition, MOQ, lead time, performance) and present side-by-side shortlist comparisons.
• Log non-binding baseline pricing and hand off qualified vendors to Purchasing with complete spec profiles.
• Maintain at least one pre-qualified backup vendor per hero material.
• Monitor supply risks (discontinuation, quality drift) and review coverage seasonally with Merchandising.
• Provide material performance data (drape, stretch, shrinkage) and advise teams on sourcing constraints before sampling starts.
• Partner with Data Specialists to log complete material specs, vendor details, and physical swatches into the central database.
