Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs in Oman is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, monitor targets, and optimize processes on the shift.

You will lead operators and technicians, ensure quality, enforce safety, and maintain production logs. The role requires hands-on supervision, coordination with maintenance, and timely reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities during the shift.
• Ensure production targets, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
• Monitor and optimize machine performance and production processes.
• Lead and manage production workers, operators, and technicians.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to improve team performance.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.
• Report and address any deviations or defects immediately.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce PPE usage.
• Report and investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses.
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions to maintenance teams.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Maintain production logs, shift reports, and downtime records.
• Provide feedback to management on production performance and challenges.
