Job summary

Client of MM Management Consultant is looking for a professional in Oman responsible for Production and Demand & Supply Planning. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction, simplifying manufacturing processes, and leading safety practices.

The ideal candidate will develop systems to enhance production efficiency and ensure compliance with safety standards, fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Production and Demand & Supply Planning for schedules.
• Ensuring customer needs are met and handling complaints.
• Building new processes and procedures.
• Simplifying manufacturing through work study and promoting automation.
• Establishing a system related to EHS.
• Prioritizing and accommodating change requests in a prioritized manner.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance processes by evaluating the quality of inputs, processes, and outputs.
• Improve the topline by ensuring RFD Adherence and Dispatch Adherence as per target, using forward thinking to identify possible bottlenecks and initiating the necessary action to de-bottleneck the process.
• Establish a system to reduce dependency on the workforce and set up a semi-automatic process or low-cost automation to make the process more agile and robust.
• Exhibit Safety Leadership by adhering to safety standards, enhancing behavioral safety, machine safety, process safety, ergonomics safety, and industrial hygiene.
• Establish a system related to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) to ensure risks are assessed and the workplace remains safe and healthy for manpower.
• Ensure protection of the environment by adopting environmentally conscious practices.
• Ensure adherence to plant statutory compliance norms.
• Ensure smooth batch processing of new products at the plant through existing resources by developing process performance and process development.

• Production and Demand & Supply Planning for Shift Wise Daily, Weekly, Monthly schedules.
• Ensuring customer needs are met to improve customer satisfaction levels and handling customer complaints, if any.
• Supplies, Services, Continuous Improvement, Communications, etc.
• Building new processes and procedures.
• Simplifying manufacturing through work study, line balancing, and promoting automation.
• Prioritizing and accommodating change requests in a prioritized manner.
